It’s all about connection.

HomeBody was founded in January of 2025 by two friends who have a shared passion for connection, home, creativity, and health. Our friendship inspired this venture and we are committed to helping women grow nurturing friendships.

Meet Ann, a creative soul who juggles the roles of mom, wife, and wellness advocate with style. With a passion for all things mindful and nature-driven, she's a certified yoga instructor and a certified Master Gardener, bringing balance and beauty into her life and the lives of those around her. She's also a lifelong learner, with a Bachelor's degree in Housing Design and a Master's in Education—always seeking new ways to grow and inspire others.

Whether it's nurturing her garden, guiding yoga students through peaceful flows, or designing spaces that bring joy, Ann believes in the power of creativity to connect, heal, and elevate. Her business-savvy background (with a minor in Business) keeps her grounded as she navigates her busy and fulfilling life, balancing her love for design, education, and personal wellness. A life-long Christ-follower, Ann infuses all she does with her love for God and others.

At her core, Ann is a big believer in living fully and embracing all the roles that make life meaningful. When she's not teaching, gardening, or spending time with family, she's dreaming up her next creative project, ready to share it with the world.

Meet Kathleen, a former high school English teacher who now spends her time as an author, blogger, and speaker, sharing her love for words and storytelling with the world. With a Bachelor's degree in Humanities, an emphasis on English, and a music minor, she’s always had a deep appreciation for creativity in all its forms. Whether she’s painting, knitting, or simply enjoying the art of a well-crafted conversation, Kathleen finds beauty in the details of life.

A proud wife and mom of adult kids, she’s passionate about hospitality and gathering people together, creating spaces for connection, warmth, and shared experiences. Her love for teaching and connecting with others hasn’t stopped—she continues to inspire through her writing and talks, always with a heart for community and connection. Her journey with God has inspired all sides of her hospitality and creativity.

From the classroom to the blogosphere, from knitting needles to paintbrushes, Kathleen is a true creative spirit who thrives on making life a little brighter and a lot more meaningful through the power of stories, gatherings, and creativity.
