Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your studio located?

Our classes and creative workshops are in a lovely studio space in the Cross Timbers area of Southlake, Texas. Because this is in a private residence, we prefer to keep the address private until a session is booked and paid for. Once you schedule your session, you will receive the address and other details by email.

What if I can’t make my yoga session or creative workshop after I register and pay for it?

We will gladly issue a coupon code to register for a make-up session within 30 days of the session you weren’t able to attend.

Do you provide yoga equipment?

We have yoga blocks and bolsters available for your use, but you should bring your personal yoga mat.

Do you offer chair yoga?

While we don’t offer chair yoga as a separate class, we are very happy to make accommodations in our regular classes to include chair yoga for participants who would benefit from that type of practice.

What do I need to bring for the creative workshops?

Yourself and your readiness to embrace a new experience. The fee for each workshop will cover the cost of all materials and equipment for the project. If there’s an exception and you need to bring any items, that will be made very clear in the sign-up for that workshop.

How do you harmonize the eastern spiritual roots of yoga with Christianity?

Yoga has many contexts, many types of instructors, and people who practice it for all different reasons. HomeBody uses yoga as a way to strengthen as well as relax our bodies. Stretching has amazing health benefits for people of all ages! During our practices, we will be relaxing, breathing deeply, stretching, holding poses, and practicing yoga for the physical benefits it provides. Although HomeBody is a faith based studio, each person will be able to decide for herself what she thinks about while holding that downward dog pose!
